Endowments

Your support of our endowment helps provide Concord Hospital Health System with ongoing financial stability in both good times and challenging times. Endowment funds are directed to support Hospital operations and identified health needs. Most importantly, we distribute your charitable gifts in accordance with your intentions. Our Stewardship Committee is thoughtful and intentional in ensuring that available funds from our endowment are used wisely.

Examples of Named Endowments

James M. and Lillian D. Kennedy Endowment ~ $50,000

To care for patients of Concord Hospital's Frail Elders House Call Program, while also providing advanced training to medical residents.

Gene Gillis Endowment ~ $27,000 

To set up a permanent fund that helps support patients of Payson Center for Cancer Care with out-of-pocket expenses for gas or groceries.

Michael B. Green Endowment ~ $25,000

To honor the leadership of former Concord Hospital CEO Michael B. Green through a fund that provides perpetual support for two vital community health resources, the Payson Center for Cancer Care and the Concord Hospital Family Health Centers.
