Assistive Communication Devices & Interpreter Services

Ask your nurse to get access to a full range of assistive communication aids and devices. TDD (Telephone Device for the Deaf) is available for patients with hearing considerations.

Interpreter services are available for free. Call (603) 524-3211, ext. 2934 to reach an interpreter.

Billing, Insurance & Financial Assistance

Make sure Concord Hospital – Laconia has correct medical insurance and billing information for you. We submit a claim(s) for your care to your insurance(s) before billing you for any deductible or co-insurance balances remaining on your account.

Cafeteria & Vending

The cafeteria is on the lower level and offers a relaxed dining experience for families and visitors. It’s open daily from 8 am to 4 pm.

Cellular & Public Phones

You may use cell phones in any area of Concord Hospital – Laconia, except where restricted by signage. You’ll find a public telephone on the Lobby Level (L Level) of the Hospital, across the hall from the south elevators.

Chapel & Spiritual Support

Spiritual Care provides a calm, caring presence, emotional support, and prayer when appropriate to patients, families, and staff, whether a specific faith is recognized or not. Ask your nurse about the availability of our chapel and spiritual care and support visits.

Hospital Amenities

Amenities available to patients and visitors include:

  • Wi-Fi – Free wireless internet access;
  • Newspaper stand – Available in the main lobby;
  • ATM – Located on the lower level, outside the cafeteria.

Medical Records

Call (603) 524-3211, ext. 3314 to request copies of your medical record for your use or to send to healthcare providers, insurance companies or other third parties.

Patient Relations

Share your compliments, concerns, or suggestions; we want to hear from you. We will try to resolve your concern quickly if you bring it to the attention of your nurse, nurse manager or director of your care unit.

Service Animals

If you're a person with a disability you're entitled to be accompanied by your service dog while a patient or visitor at our Hospital or medical practices — this is in accordance with federal and state regulations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. For the health and safety of everyone, we follow the guidelines set forth in the ADA that govern the behavior of a service animal and handler.

Smoking Policy

Concord Hospital – Laconia is a smoke-free facility and campus. All smoking, including e-cigarettes (vaping), is prohibited.

Visiting Guidelines

Visiting hours are 11 am to 7 pm daily. Family and friends in good health, including children accompanied by an adult, are welcome to visit during scheduled visiting hours. For patient safety, visitors may be restricted or asked to leave at the discretion of the care team.

Visitor guidelines:

  • Ask the nurse about patient dietary restrictions before bringing any food or drink to the Hospital;
  • Do not visit if you have been recently exposed to a communicable disease (such as chickenpox, measles, whooping cough);
  • Smoking is not allowed in the Hospital or on its grounds;
  • Wash or sanitize your hands before and after seeing the patient;
  • You may have to leave the room during treatments or examinations;
  • Leave promptly at the end of visiting hours.
