Music for Healing Symposium at Concord Hospital

Music TherapyConcord Hospital and New Hampshire SoundCare are pleased to co-present a symposium titled ‘The Practical Benefits of Therapeutic Music in a Hospital Setting’. The symposium will include a panel discussion with medical professionals from Concord Hospital sharing their observations of these benefits.

The symposium will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Robert Boucher Conference Room (Floor 3) at Concord Hospital, 250 Pleasant Street, Concord, N.H. Participants should park in Lot E, enter Concord Hospital’s Visitor Entrance (Floor 3) and follow signs toward conference rooms. Cost of the symposium is $25 and 2.75 nursing contact hours are provided.

Panel presenters from Concord Hospital include:

  • Dr. Lyn Lindpaintner, internist, geriatrician and nurse educator who leads Concord Hospital’s Delirium Education, Prevention and Management program;
  • Alice Kinsler, MA, ATR, manager of Concord Hospital Therapeutic Arts and Activities Services;
  • Reverend Keith Boyles, M Div, LADC I, an Episcopal priest and spiritual care counselor;
  • Polly Rocray, MEd, RN, a bedside nurse specializing in pulmonary care.
