Breast Cancer Survivors' Celebration Sponsored by Susan G. Komen for the Cure Planned for October 17

Concord Hospital Breast Care Center and Payson Center for Cancer Care will host the 11th annual Breast Cancer Survivors' Day on Saturday, October 17 from 9 am to 3 pm at Concord Hospital.

Individuals previously and newly diagnosed with breast cancer are invited to join in for a free, educational and fun-filled celebration. Irene Rainville, MS, PhD, CGC from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will discuss genetic counseling and testing for hereditary breast cancer. Also, Betsy Black, a renowned life coach, will share her thoughts and give advice on the importance of nurturing a positive outlook. After lunch, attendees may choose to participate in a T’ai Chi class or a group discussion on being creative and connecting socially. This highly-regarded experience offers survivors fellowship and education in a comfortable and casual environment.
“Susan G. Komen Vermont-New Hampshire is proud to be sponsoring this important event again in 2015. Concord Hospital’s mission aligns completely with Komen VT-NH’s goal of funding breast health programs in both New Hampshire and Vermont including fantastic and educational events such as this," says Theresa Farkas, executive director, Susan G. Kormen VT-NH.

Space is limited and registration is required. Register online. Upon arrival, park in Lot A or B, enter Concord Hospital’s main entrance and proceed to floor 3, conference room A.
