Being the city of Concord’s Fire Chief, Dan Andrus has become very familiar with the superior, lifesaving care Concord Hospital provides. So when Dan suffered a life-threatening heart attack and arrived at Concord Hospital, he knew he had an excellent chance of survival and recovery. At the Hospital’s Center for Cardiac Care, interventional cardiologists opened Dan’s blocked artery and restored blood flow. The procedure saved Dan’s life.

Regional Early Activation Care Team (REACT)

As part of the REACT Program that includes Concord Hospital, LRGHealthcare and emergency responders throughout the Lakes Region, heart attack patients who need immediate life-saving care in a catheterization suite are rushed directly to Concord Hospital, where cardiac experts are ready to help. They can receive follow-up care in their own communities.
