Learn how to live directly with your moment-by-moment life experiences in an open, honest and affirming way.

Registration Details

The first session is an orientation, during which you will receive a thorough introduction to the program, a taste of mindfulness practice, and an opportunity to ask questions and experience the live on-line learning environment. The orientation is a required part of the course, but you are welcome to attend the orientation even if you’re not sure you are yet ready to commit to the full program.
Requirements: If you choose to commit to the MBSR program, attendance at all 8 regular classes is required, as well as a daily practice and attendance at a longer retreat class on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 9 am to 4 pm. This program asks for a big commitment from you, but in the 40 years, it has been offered this has been found to be the best way to help you establish a strong foundation for a life of mindfulness.
Technology Requirements: A desktop or laptop computer and a stable internet connection. Please note—if you are not technologically savvy, don’t worry. We’ll cover technology information at orientation. Just be sure that your computer has speakers and video capability, and that your internet connection is strong and reliable. Please, no phones or tablets for the course, as they can limit your ability to participate and experience the course fully.

Fees & Payment

This class is specifically for patients of our Concord Hospital MS Specialty Care Program (Dr. Ann Cabot, Dr. Pooja Raibagkar, Brant Oliver, and Georgia Plamondon) who have a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. It is offered at no cost as funding is provided through a grant that Dr. Cabot has secured for her patient population. As part of the grant funding, we ask that class participants complete a questionnaire at the end of the program to share comments and feedback with the funding organization.
