Center for Urologic Care

Why We're Your Best Choice for Care

Our providers stand out by standing together as a team to build on each other’s skills and ensure that patients are supported throughout their care. “They are a true team,” said Kris Green, Center for Urologic Care practice administrator. “Patients receive team care and all of the expertise that brings.”

  • Expertise such as minimally invasive surgery that often allows patients to return home on the same day with less pain, shorter recovery time and fewer risks of complications.
  • Expertise such as multiple surgeons from different specialties working side-by-side to address multiple concerns in a single procedure, so patients can avoid repeat appointments and numerous surgeries.
  • Expertise such as our providers training Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center urology residents who spend six months at our program, recognition that our patients are receiving the best care in the region. Many physicians at the Center for Urologic Care possess academic appointments at Dartmouth Medical School and write research papers for medical journals and national meetings of their peers, another mark of distinction.

Providers at the Center for Urologic Care treat intimate conditions that are often not easy for patients to discuss. Some people suffer in silence or assume their condition is a normal result of aging and don’t seek help, which can damage relationships or leave them living in pain.

Bladder Pal

Bladder Pal, developed by Dr. Ronald Yap, is a free smart phone application available via iTunes that helps patients monitor common bladder problems. After downloading the app, men can keep accurate hydration records and track their urinary symptoms. Dr. Yap hopes the app helps patients become more aware of their bladder health.

Bladder pal helps patients take charge.
