CONCORD, NH – Concord Hospital Trust will host the Who Do You Ride For kick-off event on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Gould Hill Farm in Contoocook, NH from 5 to 8 pm. The event is free to the public and will feature live music by RGB Trio: Ryan King on drums, Gary Smith on guitar, and Bob Dwyer on guitar and vocals. Food and beverages will be available for purchase and the Concord Craft Brewing and Contoocook Cidery will donate $1 of every pint of beer sale to the Payson Center for Cancer Care, benefiting past, current, and future patients.

“They have all sorts of places where you can get help, feel loved, and feel supported throughout the Payson Center,” said Donna Kuethe, a former patient and continuing Payson supporter. “No matter whether you are early in the journey or you have completed the journey; it is so life changing.”

This special event celebrates the 20th anniversary of Pedaling for Payson, an annual fundraiser that benefits the Pedaling for Hope Fund, which largely funds a Nurse Navigator Program at the Payson Center for Cancer Care. The program helps patients and their families manage treatment schedules, cope with side effects, coordinate logistics, and communicate with specialists.

“The nurse navigators are with patients throughout the whole process,” explained Moriah Billups, Concord Hospital Trust’s major gifts officer and Pedaling for Payson event coordinator. “A cancer diagnosis involves extensive coordination with lots of different appointments and medications, all with questions from the patient and their family attached. Events like Who Do You Ride For and Pedaling for Payson keep that program funded, so patients have a compassionate and experienced guide through the complex healthcare system.”

This year’s Pedaling for Payson features the Founders Match, in which a group of original committee members and donors will contribute up to $25,000 to match funds raised by participants who register between August 8 and 17, 2025.

Pedaling for Payson 2025 takes place on Saturday, September 6, at Elm Brook Park in Hopkinton, NH. Riders can register at the Who Do You Ride For event or www.PedalingForPayson.org.
