Concord Hospital Trust Announces Formation of the Lakes Region Giving Society
Concord Hospital Trust, the philanthropic arm of Concord Hospital Health System, is proud to announce the formation of the Lakes Region Giving Society, a new community-focused philanthropic initiative designed to strengthen local health care through collective generosity.
“Philanthropy has always played an essential role in helping Concord Hospital meet the needs of our community,” said Chief Advancement Officer Veronica L. Rosa. “With the Lakes Region Giving Society, local donors can pool their resources, share in the decision-making process, and fund projects that make a real and immediate difference.”
The Lakes Region Giving Society consists of people who want to make a difference right here at home. By joining, members not only give generously but also help decide which programs and projects their contributions will support. That means every gift has a direct, lasting impact on health care in the Lakes Region.
“Health care is something that touches every one of us,” said Kimber Carr, Concord Hospital Trust’s director of development. “This giving society provides our neighbors a unique opportunity to join their voices and their generosity to fund projects that really matter to our communities.”
Every initiative presented to the society will align with the five key focus areas of Concord Hospital Health System’s strategic plan: Patients First, Intentional Growth, Best People, One System, and Financial Independence. That could mean capital improvements to the Emergency Departments, expanded cancer care services in the Lakes Region, or other vital investments to enhance access, quality, and innovation in local health care.
