Top Rock’N Race Fundraising Teams Recognized for Raising Over $34,700

Register for the 23rd Annual Rock’N Race before March 1st to receive $5 off the adult registration fee.

Concord Hospital Trust, the philanthropic arm of Concord Hospital Health System, hosted a Captains’ Breakfast on February 6 at Christ the King Parish in Concord to kick-off the 23rd Annual Rock’N Race.

Seven teams collectively raised over $34,700 last year, including: Hill’s Herd ($7,041), The Forest Bathers ($6,856), Lincoln Strong ($4,665), Hooper’s Troopers ($4,470), The Defenders ($4,154), Dan B Strong ($3,882), and Huckleberry Strong ($3,661). Top individual fundraisers brought in over $13,800: Ben Hill ($4,563), Lorri Hill ($4,425), Dan Bourquard ($2,775), and James Kane ($2,100).

Registration is open for the 23rd Annual Rock’N Race on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Presented by Merrimack County Savings Bank, the event offers a 5K or 1-mile loop throughout downtown Concord. Live music will inspire runners and walkers along the way, and food and beverages from local restaurants will be served on the State House lawn. Sign up by March 1, 2025, to save $5 off the adult registration at www.rocknrace.org.

All event proceeds will support the HOPE Resource Center at Concord Hospital Payson Center for Cancer Care, which provides complimentary programs and services to patients and their families.

The HOPE Resource Center at Concord Hospital Payson Center for Cancer Care offers unique programs and services at no cost to patients and their families. Available services include nurse navigation, nutritional counseling, social work, financial counseling, mastectomy fittings, support groups, educational classes, acupuncture, aromatherapy, and reiki and mindfulness.

These services are an important part of treatment and the cancer journey and are made possible in part by generous financial support from fundraising events hosted by Concord Hospital Trust as well as community events and donor contributions.
