Concord Hospital Welcomes the Final Baby of 2025 and the First Baby of 2026

CONCORD, NHThe Family Place at Concord Hospital marked the close of 2025 and the beginning of 2026 with two special arrivals, celebrating both the final baby born in 2025 and the first baby of the new year.

Arriving at 9:20 PM on New Year’s Eve, Caroline was the final baby born at Concord Hospital in 2025. She weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and measured 20.5 inches long. To celebrate her milestone arrival, Caroline’s parents were surprised with a gift basket filled with baby essentials to help kick off their parenting journey.

Baby Caroline

Caroline is the first child of parents Elizabeth and Christopher, and was delivered about 2 weeks earlier than anticipated. Despite the unexpected timing, the experience was a positive one for the new family.

“The staff was great. She [Elizabeth] kicked butt, and they kicked butt, and now we have a baby girl!” enthused Christopher, the proud first-time father.

As one year came to a close, the next began just as joyfully. Hours later, The Family Place welcomed Hadassah Grace, Concord Hospital’s first baby of 2026. Weighing 6 pounds and measuring 19 inches long, Hadassah made her debut as a beautiful start to the new year. In honor of her special distinction, Hadassah and her family were also presented with a gift basket of newborn essentials.

Her parents, Alexis and Eddy, have two older boys. Alexis delivered her second child at Concord Hospital before The Family Place’s renovations and delivered Hadassah Grace in one of the facility’s newest state-of-the-art labor, delivery, and recovery birthing rooms. Alexis’s attending doctor was the same person who helped deliver her second son.

“He makes you feel super comfortable and confident, like ‘You can do this!’”, said Alexis before extending her gratitude to the entire maternity staff. “Everyone is still accommodating and compassionate.”
