(Artists Recovering Through the Twelve Steps) International. Founded 1984. Supports artist in overcoming their creative block and avoidance issues so that they can bring their art out into the world. Through a mix of traditional 12-Step literature, tools, weekly meetings, artist-to-artist fellowship, and an Annual Fellowship Convention in May in Ocean Grove, NJ. ARTS establishes a safe haven in which to grow, explore, take risks and celebrate the many facets of ones creativity. Worldwide meetings, including phone meetings, are listed on website along with free literature downloads.
