Our Prostate and Urologic Cancer Program provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis, treatment and management of prostate cancer and disorders and diseases of all urologic cancers.

Prostate and Urologic Cancer Treatments

  • Prostatectomy (performed by conventional open surgery, conventional laparoscopic surgery or robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery with the da Vinci Surgical System);
  • Brachytherapy/seed implant;
  • Cryotherapy;
  • Hormonal treatment;
  • External beam radiation therapy;
  • Cystectomy/removal of the bladder (performed by conventional open surgery, conventional laparoscopic surgery or robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery with the da Vinci Surgical System);
  • Nephrectomy/removal of all or part of the kidney.

The Program is in partnership with the Payson Center for Cancer Care and features high-definition, robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgical technology; dedicated and experienced radiation and medical oncologists; clinical research trials and expansive support services; as well as multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patients recently diagnosed with prostate cancer.
