About Us
The Concord Hospital Sleep Center provides comprehensive care for sleep disorders. This includes consultations, testing and ongoing treatment for identified sleep problems.
Procedures Performed or Problems Diagnosed and Treated:
- Sleep apnea
- Narcolepsy
- Chronic insomnia
- Restless leg syndrome
- Periodic limb movement disorder
- Circadian rhythm disturbances
The Center has three board-certified sleep specialists. The physicians associated with the center are medically trained in specialties such as otolaryngology, neurology,
pulmonology and psychiatry, with expertise in diagnosing and treating patients with all types of sleep disorders. Additionally we staff six full-time sleep technicians, all of whom
are BRPT board-registered technologists who have a total of over 60 years in the field.
The Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, a medical association established to improve the practice and elevate the standards of sleep medicine. Accreditation by the AASM as a 'Sleep Center' assures quality patient care, as well as the technical ability and medical expertise to diagnose and treat the full spectrum of sleep disorders.
The Center is fully computerized and equipped with state-of–the-art digital technology to record and interpret sleep studies. The center’s private rooms include a full-size bed,
television, recliner and spacious bathroom. Patients can avoid taking time off from work by having their sleep study done overnight and leaving directly for work from the center.
