Concord Hospital and other community healthcare facilities sponsor a variety of support groups that are open to the public. Support groups and educational programs provide a comfortable, safe environment where you can share your feelings and thoughts on a particular life experience.

Living with Cancer Support Group
Held the first and third Mondays of each month, 4:30-6 pm. Call (603) 227-7000, ext. 3013.

Man to Man Support Group
Held in partnership with the American Cancer Society for men with prostate cancer and their partners on the second Wednesday of each month, 5-7 pm. Call (603) 230-6031.

Caregivers’ Networking Time Support Group
Held on the first Saturday of each month for individuals to meet others, share ideas, energize each other, and learn techniques designed to help any individuals who has a loved one with cancer, 9-10:30 am. Call (603) 230-6031.

Family Support Group
Held in partnership with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for individuals with blood cancer and their family members the second Monday of each month, 5-6:30 pm. Call (603) 230-6031.

Staying Connected Support Group
Held the first Wednesday of each month for women facing breast cancer, 5-7 pm. Call (603) 230-6031.

A Woman’s Journey: A Woman’s Cancer Support Group
Held quarterly (six sessions) for women recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Fridays, July 17-August 21 12-1:30 pm. Call (603) 230-6031.

Thyroid Support Group
Held the third Saturday of each month, 10:30 am. Call (603) 224-9923.

Strong Women in Motion (SWIM)
Join us for water fitness classes for women cancer survivors on Sundays, June 21-July 26 3– 4 pm from 5:15-6:30 pm. Call (603) 230-6031.

Head and Neck Cancer:Focusing on the Recovery Process
Join us to share your coping strategies for treatment and recovery with other survivors and caregivers. Call (603) 230-6031.

Ai Chi
Join us for Ai Chi, a water based total body strengthening and relaxation progression, for cancer survivors. Call (603) 230-6031.

Taking Care of Money Matters
Held in partnership with the American Cancer Society, to help cancer patients manage money matters during and after treatment on Wednesday, August 12, 11–1 pm. Call (603) 230-6031.

We’re Talking About It
A workshop for families helping children (ages 5-12) cope when a parent has cancer on Saturday, August 8, 9–11:30 am. Call (603) 230-6031.

Living with Lung Cancer

Look Good…Feel Better
