Concord Hospital and other community healthcare facilities sponsor a variety of support groups that are open to the public. Support
groups and educational programs provide a comfortable, safe environment where you can share your feelings and thoughts on a particular
life experience. All programs require registration.
Stupid Cancer
A social and support gathering for TEENS who have a loved one that has been diagnosed with cancer. (Held in partnership with the Elliot Regional Cancer Center.) Friday, January 20 and 27 &
February 3 from 3-4:30 pm at The Elliot Regional Cancer Center. Friday March 30, April 6 and 13 from 3-4:30 pm at Concord Hospital Payson Center for Cancer Care. Call (603) 230-6031.
Living with Lung Cancer
Connect with other people and caregivers affected by lung cancer. Share information and resources. January 25, February 29 and March 28 from 10:30 am-12 noon.
SWIM Strong When I Move
Gentle water exercise for increasing strength and decreasing fatigue for cancer survivors and caregivers. Meets Wednesday from 2:30-3:30 pm or Thursday from 5-6 pm.

Tools for Healing
Relaxation, breathing and meditation techniques can begin to restore our balance in the path of healing. Using simple and effective tools you can begin to cultivate a
calm mind. Survivors please join us for a weekly class. Weekly starting Monday, January 16 from 10:30-11:30 am.
Man to Man
Held in partnership with the American Cancer Society for men with prostate cancer and their partners. Second Wednesday of each month from 5-7 pm. Call (603) 230-6031.
Staying Connected Support Group
Held the first Thursday of each month for women facing breast or gynecological cancer, 5-7 pm. Call (603) 230-6031.
A Woman’s Journey
Held Friday, January 13 - February 24 for women recently diagnosed with breast or gynecological cancer, 12-1:30 pm. Call the Breast Care Center to register 230-7266.
Look Good…Feel Better
Held in partnership with the American Cancer Society for women in treatment to combat appearance related side effects. This is a one day two hour session. Tuesday, January 17 from 5-7 pm; February
21 and March 20 from 2-4 pm. Call (603) 230-6031.
Family Support Group
Held in partnership with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for individuals with blood cancer and their family members the second Monday
of each month, 5-7 pm. Call (603) 230-6031.
Living with Cancer
A safe environment for survivors and support persons to explore the impact of cancer on their lives. Meets first and third Monday of each month, 4:30-6 pm. Call (603) 230-6031.
