Comparing Gemcitabine, Cisplatin and Avastin to Gemcitabine, Cisplatin and Placebo in Patients With Advanced Transitional Cell Cancer
To determine if patients with renal cancer treated with Cabozantinib will have longer period of time with tumor growth compared to patients treated with Sunitinib.
To determine if the addition of Armodafinil will help reduce patient's reported fatigue associated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer whose tumor’s have high levels of COX-2 may be eligible for this study. The purpose of the study is to see if adding celecoxib versus placebo to standard chemotherapy has any benefit.
The study will compare the effects of hormone therapy and chemotherapy before surgery compared to just surgery alone.
To see if adding Dasatinib to the standard of care Temodar and radiation therapy will extend the amount of time it takes for the cancer to start growing again.
Must have measurable disease. Must have completed radiation treatment at least 12 weeks before study enrollment. Can have had up to two other chemotherapy programs.
Comparing bevacizumab and erlotinib versus erlotinib alone to determine if the amount of time before tumor growth is seen is longer with the two drug combination.
The study will find out if adding Herceptin to breast radiation therapy is more effective than radiation therapy alone in preventing occurrence of breast cancer in the same breast, the other breast or in other parts of the body in patient who are Her2 neu positive.
