Payson Center for Cancer Care
Read our Paysonhealth 2013 Annual Report.
We provide patients and their families with services for all aspects of cancer care and support.
Our comprehensive program includes:
- Cancer-related specialists;
- Diagnostic technology;
- Radiation and medical oncology;
- Support services;
- Services sponsored by various national cancer health organizations;
- Healthy lifestyle programs;
- Screening and early detection programs;
- Clinical research trials.
Our Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer (CoC) as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center, which means we have voluntarily committed to provide the best in cancer diagnosis and treatment, and we are in compliance with CoC's standards.
The board-certified physicians on our medical staff, and nationally-certified oncology nurses are dedicated to providing quality health care in a supportive, caring environment.
Our Genetic Counseling Program is in collaboration with NH Oncology-Hematology (NHOH), and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). DFCI genetic counselors are available to provide consultation to appropriate patients, along with input from an NHOH physician. All cases are reviewed by the team at DFCI's Cancer Risk & Prevention Program.
We provide eligible patients access to medical oncology and radiation oncology based national clinical research trials right here in our community.
The Rock 'N Race and Pedaling for Payson events benefit our Payson Center for Cancer Care. Event proceeds are directed toward support programs and services and financial assistance for cancer patients in need.
