As part of our commitment to providing a safe environment, we have policies on smoking, weapons management, gifts and gratuities and latex that we want you to be aware of before your visit.
We are proud to be a smoke-free healthcare facility and campus. We appreciate that being smoke-free may be difficult, and we can provide support through nicotine supplements, relaxation techniques and education. If you need assistance complying with our policy, please consult your physician or anyone on our staff.
Weapons Management Policy
Concord Hospital is committed to providing a safe environment and therefore prohibits weapons of any kind on any Concord Hospital property, whether owned or leased, unless the weapon is appropriately stored. Law enforcement may keep possession of their weapon provided they comply with established security parameters.
Gifts and Gratuities Policy
Per policy, Concord Hospital staff may not accept cash or cash equivalents, such as gift certificates from patients, their family members or loved ones, and visitors. People who wish to express gratitude or tangibly recognize a Concord Hospital employee may do so through a charitable contribution as part of the Concord Hospital Trust's Tribute Program.
Concord Hospital does not allow latex balloons inside the hospital. The hospital has asked local florists and retailers to help educate their customers on our safety policy which is meant to reduce risks to people with latex allergies.
