Nancy Nemcovich, Substance Use Counselor Presented Counselor of the Year Award

Nancy Nemcovich, LADC has been awarded the 2015 Counselor of the Year Award by the New Hampshire Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors Association (NHADACA), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing addiction professions in New Hampshire through education and advocacy.

The NHADACA presents this award annually to one of its current, active members who is employed as an addiction counseling professional for not less than three years. The award honors outstanding performance in some or all of the following competence areas: assessment, treatment planning, case management, communications, administrative skills, individual/group/family counseling, referral, professional relationships and professional integrity.

Nancy holds a license as an alcohol and drug counselor (LADC). She has been in the field as a counselor since 1985 working initially in residential substance use treatment, and then working with multiple DWI offenders.  More recently she worked in outpatient setting, serving adolescents and their families. Currently she is a LADC at Concord Hospital Substance Use Services Department where she treats adults and lead's the family education program.
