Awards Recognize Top Urologists, Honor Service to Specialty and Society
The American Urological Association is honoring Concord Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr. David F. Green for his contributions to medicine, urology and the association.
Dr. Green, of Concord Hospital Center for Urologic Care, is one of three physicians nationally chosen to receive the AUA’s 2014 Distinguished Service Award. The award is presented annually to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Association’s goals of fostering the highest standards of urologic care around the world.
Specifically, the AUA cited Dr. Green’s more than 20 years of outstanding contributions on AUA committees and special task forces, his leadership in forging an affiliation between the AUA and the American Association of Clinical Urologists, and his “a unique, balanced perspective” as a key member of the AUA’s Board of Directors.
Dr. Green is a practicing urologist and Concord Hospital’s Chief Medical Officer.
He will receive the award at the Association’s Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla., in May.
