The 5K sanctioned event begins near the State House Lawn at 6 p.m. Register on May 15 at St. Peter’s Parish, 135 North State Street, Concord from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. or on race day May 16, at the State House Plaza from noon until 5:30 p.m.
Along the route, grab a bite to eat or a cool beverage from one of the many vendors including New Hampshire Distributors; The Common Man; Courtyard by Marriott; Margaritas Mexican Restaurant; and Granite State Candy Shoppe. Talented area musicians will entertain participants throughout the course and at the finish line, enjoy dinner courtesy of Alan’s of Boscawen, Inc.; O Steaks and Seafood, The Concord Cooperative Market and The Meat House while listening to Dusty Gray.
Pay tribute to your loved ones by signing the Rock, Race and Reflect wall that will be placed at the State House plaza on race day. SAFETY ISSUES REMINDER: With more than 6,000 runners and walkers in 2012, Rock ‘N Race has become a meaningful community event. We want it to stay that way and ensure everyone’s safety. For that reason and to adhere to USATF rules: Individuals pushing strollers and baby joggers are prohibited from running in this event and must register as walkers. Failure to comply will result in disqualification. Also, NO PETS, bikes, roller blades, skateboards, earbuds or headphones will be allowed on the course.
