Dr. Veronica Triaca of Concord Hospital Center for Urologic Care Achieves Certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Veronica Triaca of Concord Hospital Center for Urologic Care has achieved certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery from the American Board of Urology (ABU). Such certification recognizes physicians in urology or obstetrics and gynecology who, by virtue of education and training, are prepared to provide consultation and comprehensive management of women with complex benign pelvic conditions, lower urinary tract disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction. Comprehensive management includes those diagnostic and therapeutic procedures necessary for the total care of the patient with these conditions and complications resulting from them.

Dr. Triaca currently serves as medical director of Concord Hospital Center for Urologic Care’s Pelvic Medicine, Continence and Sexual Health Program, which offers an advanced, innovative, multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of urologic and urogynecologic conditions. The program’s collaborative clinical approach is based on the foundation of multidisciplinary care that includes urologists, gynecologists, colorectal surgeons, physical therapists, behavioral and sex therapists, as well as nurse specialists. Weekly clinics allow patients to see multiple specialists resulting in a convenient, holistic approach to patient care.
