Concord Hospital Center for Urologic Care has announced the addition of Brian K. Marks, MD to its Pelvic Medicine, Continence and Sexual Health Program.
Dr. Marks completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. and earned his degree in medicine at New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. He completed his residency in urology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. and continued his subspecialty fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH.
FPMRS subspecialty-trained physicians perform surgery for urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders, including surgery for vaginal prolapse, vaginal fistula surgery, complex vaginal reconstructions and treatment of overactive bladder.
The Center for Urologic Care's Pelvic Medicine, Continence and Sexual Health Program offers an advanced, innovative, multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of urologic and urogynecologic conditions including stress and urge incontinence, voiding dysfunction, overactive bladder, pelvic floor disorders such as pelvic organ prolapse, bladder and pelvic pain, chronic urinary tract infections and female sexual dysfunction. The programs collaborative clinical approach is based on the foundation of multidisciplinary care that includes urologists, gynecologists, colorectal surgeons, physical therapists, behavioral and sex therapists, as well as nurse specialists. Weekly clinics allow patients to see multiple specialists resulting in a convenient, holistic approach to patient care.
