What is it like to 'live in the moment?' Mindfulness training can show you how to live directly with your life experiences, and why doing so is foundational to your well-being and satisfaction in life. In this orientation, you will learn about the history, science, risks and benefits of attending to your life, moment-by-moment. You'll experience a sample MBSR class, including experiential practice and class exploration about this life-affirming approach. You can take this class alone as a taste of mindfulness, or as the required pre-requisite for the 8-week Mindful-Based Stress Reduction seminar.
