Finding their way through the maze of life's pressures isn't always easy. This class will help teens explore who they are in a judgment-free zone, offering ways to integrate stress management into their routine. Through the 5 weeks, we’ll explore the basic foundations of mindfulness (staying in the present moment with kindness and no judgment) and meditation (focused awareness) in a way that kids can understand and employ. Some benefits received may be stress and change resiliency, personal awareness and insights, improved emotional regulation, greater focus and concentration and a calmer body and mind. For kids ages 11-14.
